Featheredge panels with concrete posts and gravel boards.
From 3 ft high fencing through to 7ft high fencing, featheredge panels are pssibly the most popular choice in garden fencing now. Fitted on a 6 inch or 12 inch concrete gravel board using concrete slotted posts concreted in to the ground, this style of fence is extremely robust and cost effective for a fence that will last years.
Waney edge panels on wooden posts
From 3ft high to 6ft high for a traditional softer look in your garden. Slightly less robust than featheredge panels, but fitted correctly these are a common choice when your budget does not allow for featheredge panels on concrete posts and gravel boards. We install these generally on 4 inch x 4 inch posts, and concrete them into the ground.
Picket fencing on wooden posts
Picket fencing is a popular option especially fitted on wooden posts. This style of fencing allows a good sturdy boundary but has the added advantge of not restricting the view too much. This fencing is also very useful in areas that are exposed to high or persistent winds, as it allows the wind to flow through it.
Trellis fencing
Trellis fencing is a great choice within a garden. It can be used as a boundary fencing solution as well, however lacks the strength of for example featheredge panels. Along with picket fencing, Trellis fencing is particularly suited to areas within the garden that are open to the wind, as most of the wind passes through it.
